Forest Research Institute - FRI Dehradun
Established in 1906 as Imperial Forest Research Institute, Forest Research   Institute (FRI) Dehradun has magnificent colonial style of architecture. The main attraction is its main building which is a National Heritage and styled in Greeko Roman Architecture by C.G. Blomfield in 1929.

Guchhu Pani/ Robbers Cave
Guchhupani or Robbers Cave is known for unusual cold springs which goes underground at some of the places inside the caves. One can enter the cold water with folding pants and witness small and large waterfall. Experiencing beautiful natural rift or caves with legs in freezing water is amazing and romantic as well. Youngsters and tourists rushed to Robbers Cave mostly in summers to get relief from scorching Sun. Guchchu Pani is now developing.

Sahastradhara
Known for the medicinal merits and therapeutic value, Sahastradhara has collection of water pools where water drips from limestone stalactites, turning it to sulphur springs. Apart from medicinal springs, Sahastradhara has tranquil environment with rich himalayan vegetation.
Sahastradhara also has an ropeway providing an airy ride to the mountaintop. From the top one can enjoy the panoramic view of Sahastradhara. A waterpark named 'Joyland Water Park' is a manmade water amusement park which also attracts visitors. Tourists can enjoy Sahastradhara all round the year.

Tapkeshwar Maha Dev Temple
As per belief and holy epic Mahabharata, it was believed that the cave to be once resided by the Guru of Pandavas and Kauravas. The cave is named Drona Cave after his name. When Dronacharya's wife Kalyani gave birth to Aswosthama, she didn't properly feed him with her milk. As Dronacharya was unable to afford cow or cow milk, Aswosthama. the clever child prayed to Lord Shiva. Happy with his praying, Lord Shiva feed him milk through dripping from the Shivling in Drona Cave.

Buddha Temple
Buddha Temple is a Tibetan monestary, also called as Mindrolling Monastery and was build in 1965 by his eminence the Kochen Rinpoche and few other monks for the promotion and protection of religious & cultural understanding of Buddhism. Built in Japanese architecture style, Buddha Temple complex atmosphere provides a mental peace equal to Buddhist monk. Buddha temple complex was created as one of the four schools of Tibetan religion. This temple complex is known as 'Nyigma' while other schools known as Sakya, Kagyu and Geluk respectively.

Lachhiwala
Lachhiwala is also famous among trekkers and bird watchers due to its solitude environment. In search for pleasant atmosphere, Lachihiwala is often crowded in weekends and holidays. Tourists can visit Lachhiwal all round the year and Forest Rest House is available for accommodation.

Dehradun Zoo, Malsi Deer Park
Surrounded by Malsi Reserve Forest, Malsi Deer Park is famous for sightseeing of young deer or heardof deer in their natural habitat at Shiwalik foothills. One can also take a click of deer easily if trained. Apart from majestic Deer population, the park has two-horned deer and Neelgai (Indian Antelope) as well. Visitors also can sight wide variety of birds in their natural environment in the park. Malsi Deer Park also has peacock and rabbits protected in the cages and one can feed them as well.

Daat Kali Temple
A religiously significant temple near Dehradun, Daat Kali Temple is visited by many locals visitors and tourists to take blessings from the deity to start a new chapter of life. Temple was established on June 13th 1804 on Sashti Asadh when there was construction work of Dehradun - Saharanpur highway carried on. It was believed that Maa Kali came to dream of Engineer, who gave an idol of Goddess Kali to Mahant Sukhbir Gusain to established the temple. As temple is located in the valley, it is called as Daat Kali Mandir.

Clock Tower Dehradun
A prominent landmark of Dehradun city , Clock Tower of Dehradunis located at Rajpur Road. Names of the freedom fighters of Dehradun are engraved in a gold plaque on the Clock Tower. Clock tower also marks the centre of Dehradun city and all major commercial centre are easily accessible from here. Chakrata Road, Paltan Bazar Rd, Rajpur Rd and Haridwar Road meets at Clock Tower. Unfortunately, the impressive clocks are not working now. Previously chime of the clock was audible from far-off places of the hill city.
